Keswick Rotary Club will be collecting for the Tree of Light in Booths Supermarket in Keswick on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd November by kind permission of the Manager of the Supermarket.

The money raised each year is distributed by Keswick Rotary Club and the main charity to benefit this year will be Macmillan Cancer Support which undertakes such wonderful work in our community. Donations will also be made to Keswick Junior Cricket Club, Keswick Junior Football Club and other local charities and organizations.

John Howell, President of  Keswick Rotary Club said ‘we know that many people who want to make a donation to the tree in memory of a loved one, would like some assistance in completing the donation form so we will have a Rotarian on hand to help them and answer any questions. It will also provide the opportunity for others to simply make a cash donation.’

John said ‘last year we had tremendous support for the tree and raised over £5,000

for the Pride of Cumbria Air Ambulanced and other local charities’.
